Kareena Kapoor Khan chills with Taimur, manages to catch a break with hubby Saif Ali Khan while promoting Veere Di Wedding

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been running from pillar to post promoting Veere Di Wedding with co-stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Looks like she does not want to leave any stone unturned to make sure that her comeback vehicle is smash hit. There is no stopping to her when it comes to jugging work and family like a pro, which is very inspiring to all moms to be! Yesterday while she was busy with promotional activities and shooting for some advertisement, she caught a break and chilled with both: hubby Saif Ali Khan and doting son Taimur Ali Khan in the city!

If Kareena is not at home, she makes sure that Taimur visits her on sets. Yesterday, as soon as she finished promoting her film, hubby Saif dropped by her sets and she is seen conversing him on the sets. He was not alone! Taimur had accompanied him and Bebo’s joy knew no bounds. Also, see the happy trooper Taimur walking away merrily holding both his parents hands! This sure is a Kodak moment! He looks genuinely pleased in the company of his mom and dad.

 

Kareena spoke about the challenges of raising Taimur, being a working mother and revealed that she could not have done that without the support of her hubby Saif who also is juggling his acting career while maintaining a work-life balance. He is currently shooting and hence Bebo will take a break till November until she signs her next film.

Did Sonam Kapoor just say that Ranbir Kapoor could perfectly fit into Kareena Kapoor Khan's role in Veere Di Wedding?

Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania are coming up with an all-girls madcap film, Veere Di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea and Ekta Kapoor. The buzz around the movie is super positive and everything from the trailer, music to the first rushes of the film has had masses talking about this project. Also, this film is supposed to be Kareena’s comeback vehicle after maternity break and therefore the entire hullabaloo about it is sort of justified. The film has a coming of age plot and features four friends and their lives. All four women are going all out promoting the movie. At the recent promotional event, they were asked if the movie was made with four men who would they cast in it. Okay so the names that popped were Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Abhay Deol among others. But you should know the comments the two Kapoor girls gave while they said that they wanted to cast Ranbir.

While Sonam’s first choice to play Kareena’s character was Hrithik, Bebo replied that Ranbir Kapoor would essay her role. Sonam’s report to this was mind-blowing. She said, “Ranbir? Haan, for sure! He’ll be running.” Is she hinting at the Kapoor scion’s Casanova real life image? Whoa, we sure wanted to hear what the Sanju star wants to say about this. Also, we know there is some history between Sonam and Ranbir so we are not even surprised that she said this.

Veere Di Wedding is a pretty personal film for all four actresses and we want this film to do well at the box office simply because inspired by its success, more women oriented films will be made.

Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals why she was FORCED to not shoot Veere Di Wedding during pregnancy

The trailer of Veere Di Wedding has already garnered ample fans, thanks to its connect with urban females! But audiences may be aware that the film’s release has been pushed by a year because of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy. Now that the film is all set to release, the actress revealed about what unfolded and why Rhea Kapoor decided to wait for her instead of shooting with the baby bump.

It was a known fact that immediately after the announcement of Veere Di Wedding, yet another announcement followed. No points for guessing, it was about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy. Post that, there were many speculations about the fate of Veere Di Wedding. But producer Rhea Kapoor was more than happy to have Kareena Kapoor Khan and wanted her to do the film, no matter what it takes for them! They even decided to rescript the film by introducing a pregnancy plot of portraying Kareena as six month pregnant but none of it happened and there is a reason for it!

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was equally keen on doing the film, maintained that she agreed to do Veere Di Wedding with the baby bump. She was also overwhelmed to see the filmmaker Shashanka Ghosh and Rhea Kapoor work extra to rescript to suit her pregnancy plot. However, she later got the information that actresses in India don’t get have maternity insurance unlike abroad. This prompted the actress to change her decision, and luckily her decision was supported by Ghosh and Kapoor alike.

Kareena Kapoor Khan further expressed that she was upset when she found out about the lack of maternity insurance by adding that it is important to safeguard working actresses against mishaps during pregnancy. The actress believes that our country is unequipped to facilitate the needs of a working woman as it fails to recognize their varied challenges in the different stages of life.

On the other hand, she is very thankful towards Rhea Kapoor and Shashanka Ghosh for adjusting according to her schedule. She also further expressed her gratitude towards them for not forcing her to resume work at any point of time and for patiently waiting for her. She resumed Veere Di Wedding six months after she gave birth to Taimur.

Speaking on Veere Di Wedding, it also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in leading roles. The film is slated to release on June 1.
