Here's the first look of Race 3 song 'Selfish' written by Salman Khan

Salman Khan has added yet another feather to his cap. This time by turning lyricists for his upcoming action franchise Race 3. The actor has penned a song titled ‘Selfish’ for the film. The song is touted to be a soulful romantic track.

Interestingly, it is heard the conception of the song was an incidental one. It was during a creative brainstorming session where Salman penned the lyrics on a piece of paper. This led to music composer Vishal Mishra to add tunes to Salman’s soulful words.

‘Selfish’ comes next in line, after ‘Heeriye’, a dance number featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Announcing the new song on social media, actor Bobby Deol said, “Super excited for my first song in #Race3 with @BeingSalmanKhan and @Asli_Jacqueline! #Selfish releasing this Friday!

REVEALED: Race 3's viral dialogue is this person's BUSINESS and none of Daisy Shah's Business

Daisy Shah’s ‘None Of Your Business’ dialogue has garnered more popularity than Priya Prakash Varrier’s viral wink and everybody from top celebs to even Mumbai Police are seen jumping on the bandwagon to promote their content, using Daisy’s viral dialogue. For those who woke up a little late, here’s what happened.

Salman Khan’s Race 3 trailer dropped a week ago and well, the expected happened. The trailer went viral, in no time. But not because of Salman. Not even because of Jacqueline Fernandez. Netizens lapped up the trailer all thanks to one dialogue mouthed by none other than Daisy Shah. And the KILLER line goes like this: OUR BUSINESS IS OUR BUSINESS, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Twitter, as usual, could not handle this phenomenon and the whole online world just burst into memes of Ms Shah mouthing the same dialogue in every situation! Even Mumbai Police could not chill with so much happening and made it their business to post a caution against cyber-crime, Daisy style.

But now it seems like we have been crediting a wrong person all along. No, Ms. Shah has nothing to do with this. Don’t believe us? We burrowed Mr Sherlock Holmes’ services just for a bit to do some sleuthing for us and here’s what we found out. Daisy Shah is a hapless victim who’s being framed and the real culprits behind this kick-ass dialogue are director Remo D’Souza and writer Shiraz Ahmed. You ask why? Because Race 3 is not the only movie with a gem of a dialogue like this one. In fact all other movies made by Remo boast of such precious one liners. We have a list and trust us, you will not be disappointed.

ABCD starring Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya, Kay Kay Menon in lead roles had a line which goes like this, “PUT YOUR HEART INTO DANCE AND DANCE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOUR HEART.” Now let’s come to its sequel ABCD 2, which was a smash hit of 2015 starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Remo D’Souza came up with this one line which totally had us ROFL. After the film ended, he quoted himself stating, “LIFE IS ALL ABOUT THE NEXT STEP.” Heavy!!

Remo’s next venture A Flying Jatt with the dancing star Tiger Shroff was totally forgettable box office wise but we can never overlook this one line which by the way is Master Remo’s quote again from his personal collection. The movie ends with this line: ‘EVERYTHING HAS AN ALTERNATIVE. EXCEPT MOTHER EARTH.’

But the best dialogue from his filmography was in his debut film. Remo made his directorial debut with Faltu which feature Jackky Bhagnani. This one penned by the choreographer-turned-director himself along with writer Mayur Puri, however, takes the cake from Daisy’s Race 3 line by a long shot. No, not kidding. Here is the award-winning dialogue from the film which goes like, “CHILDREN ARE NEVER USELESS … IT’S JUST THAT THEY ARE USED LESS.”

However, at the end of the day, Remo has managed to bring us some smiles with his unintentionally funny dialogues and well, we aren’t complaining. As for Daisy, we hope she can now chill, as the onus of this BUSINESS is not on her anymore.

DEADLY COMBO! Race 3 star Salman Khan and veteran actor Dharmendra will come together this Eid

Salman Khan is gearing up for Race 3 and veteran actor Dharmendra is gearing up for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. But what if two of them come together? The third instalment of Yamla Pagla Deewana which has been in the making for long, finally gets a date for its trailer launch. And the Race 3 audiences will get to see the same in theatres as it will feature alongside this Salman, Jacqueline Fernandez starrer.

This Eid will indeed be a celebration time for the audiences as they will get to see the sleek action thriller but with a hint of comedy! The hint of comedy is the trailer of Yamla Pagla Deewana 3. Incidentally, the film also has another Salman Khan connection. Fans of the actor will be aware that the superstar has done a cameo for this Deol venture.

It is a known fact that Salman Khan shares a great camaraderie with the Deol family. The superstar is attempting to revive Bobby Deol’s career with Race 3 and another production in the pipeline. He also has tremendous respect for the once-superstar and veteran actor Dharmendra. So owing to all the elements, the actor convinced the makers to attach the trailer of Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 along with Race 3.

Salman Khan believes that this third instalment of the comedy franchise will benefit with this as it will be able to reach a wider audience. Furthermore, the makers can kick off the promotions in this manner for the July release.

Let us also tell you that this will not be the only trailer that will be attached with the film. Another film’s trailer that will be attached would be Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor. The trailer of this Rajkumar Hirani directed Sanjay Dutt biopic will release on May 30 followed by which it will be attached to films that will release in theatres.

On the other hand, speaking about Race 3, the film will also star Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in lead roles and is slated to release on June 15.

Mumbai Police SASS Daisy Shah as they promote cyber safety with her viral Race 3 dialogue, here’s how she reacts

So, Daisy Shah is a hoot! No one in their wildest dream would have thought that she would be the talking point after the Race 3 trailer released. While there was a mixed reaction over the trailer, it was Daisy Shah’s ‘Our business is our business, none of your business,’ dialogue which BROKE the internet in the most literal sense. So, what was her first reaction? She was enraged and in a fit of anger ranted on social media about the same. She wrote, “To all The people who think they are too smart. Create ur own identity 1st  n ‘GET A LIFE’, Wait! I am sure u don’t have any #patheticLosers” But let’s face it, any publicity is good publicity and Daisy seems to have learnt this real quick when her own mentor Salman Khan jumped on the bandwagon promoting the dialogue with a zangy video. Jacqueline Fernandez too did the same.

Now, the Mumbai Police’s super woke social media team has taken this viral meme into cognizance and they took to Twitter to write, “Mind your own data to make sure that no one else takes advantage of it to beat you in the #RaceOfSafety.” The Daisy meme says: My data is my data, none of your data. Well, the actress took to Twitter to congratulate the police and replied with a polite #TooGood retort. This is a classic case of make hay while sun shine and hey, we are not complaining. We are just waiting for other brands to jump on this train and well earn two minutes of fame with this viral content. Daisy has all the reason to celebrate, in our opinion.

SCOOP: Salman Khan’s Race 3 may not release in Pakistan

Just a few days ago, we saw the trailer of the Salman Khan starrer Race 3 release, followed by a couple of tracks from the film. While the film still remains as one of the most keenly anticipated summer releases in Bollywood, we hear that Race 3 might just have a tough time releasing across the border. In fact, reports state that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Pakistan has issued a notice temporarily banning the release of any foreign film including Indian films during the Eid holidays, essentially casting a shadow of doubt on the release of Race 3 in Pakistan this Eid.

As per the circular issued by the Pakistan Ministry, Indian and foreign films will be banned from two days before Eid to until two weeks after the holidays. This move to ban foreign and Indian films comes after local filmmakers, artists, distributors and producers complained that local films face stiff competition from Indian and Hollywood movies that release during the festive season. With this temporary ban, the Pak Ministry looks at promoting local cinema which, given the limited screen count, have been facing issues with recovering their investment.

To gain more clarity on the Pakistan release of Race 3, we contacted Ramesh Taurani, who is the producer of Race 3. However, Taurani claims to have no details on the same saying, “I am not aware of this notice in Pakistan and I cannot comment on the film’s release since Yash Raj Films is taking care of the overseas distribution of Race 3.” With doubt still foreshadowing the release of Race 3 in Pakistan, it is learnt that the said temporary ban is also applicable for the Eid-ul-Adha holidays which will fall around late August or September.

As of now, with no clarity on the release pattern of Race 3 in the overseas market, and an official update on its release still awaited, it remains unclear whether Race 3 will hit screens in Pakistan this Eid.

Race 3 has been taking the internet by a storm but probably not for the right reasons. The film has become a victim of social media trolls with many criticizing it for its over-the-top dialogues and larger-than-life action scenes of Salman Khan. One amongst them that has created a furor is “Our Business is Our Business, None of Your Business” which was mouthed by Daisy Shah, in the film’s trailer. While she got trolled massively for it, when Varun Dhawan decided to recreate it, he too witnessed a similar fate.

With the latest trend of actors supporting their colleagues’ upcoming films as a part of its promotions, Varun Dhawan decided to do the same for Race 3. Considering his great camaraderie with superstar Salman Khan and director of the film Remo D’Souza, it was quite obvious that the Gen Y superstar would definitely come out in support of the film.

Owing to the constant trolls about the ‘None Of Your Business’, the makers decided to make a spoof out of the same. However, it seems that their attempt massively backfired. Remo D’Souza posted the video of Varun and him recreating the dialogue on his Instagram page. However, he definitely wouldn’t have expected the comments that followed.
While some claimed that the dialogue has become a bigger hit than the film’s trailer itself, a few others maintained that they are just trying to save their face from the constant trolls by responding to it in this manner. Here are glimpses of the comments that followed after the video was posted.

It seems that the makers have a long way to go before this dialogue is erased off. Let’s hope, followed by the amount of trolls, the adage any publicity is good publicity stands true for the film when it releases!

Race 3 actress Jacqueline Fernandez set to SIZZLE at the closing ceremony of IPL 2018 (read details)

Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in to perform for the closing ceremony of the Indian Premier League on May 27 to be held in Mumbai. The actress has also been a part of the opening ceremony of the cricketainment where she danced to her hit numbers including ‘Tan Tana Tan’ and ‘Lift Teri Bandh Hai’ from her blockbuster film Judwaa 2.

According to sources, “Jacqueline is the only actress to have been roped in for both the opening and closing act of IPL. Not only does she have several hit songs to her credit, she is also high on energy and known for her moves, that’s the reason she is sought after. Now, she will be grooving to her latest number ‘Heeriye’ from Race 3.”

There are also talks of her performing a medley to her other popular tracks. “Till date Jacqueline has 19 hits that include ‘Chittiyan Kalliyan’, ‘Jumme Ki Raat’, ‘Sooraj Dooba Hai’ and ‘Sau Tarah Ke’. Discussions are on to create a new musical piece that will weave all these songs together. A final call will be taken in a day or two about it,” adds the source.

The actress will not only perform on the ground but also will also be part of the two-hour TV show Cricket Final Party Toh Banti Hai where she will be seen talking about cricket with Salman Khan promoting their upcoming movie Race 3 and also shake a leg to their song.

With Race 3 coming up, Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen recreating the Kick magic with Salman Khan. The pair garnered immense love from the audience, so much so that Sajid Nadiadwala has already cast the duo in Kick 2.
