Aryan reaches Delhi with great expectations and anticipation, for he had full faith in his love. But all his aspirations were drastically shattered when found out that Mahira had unexpectedly abandoned him. Like a whiff of smoke she disappeared into thin air, cutting all ties and contacts with Aryan. This incident changed Aryan and leaves him with a bruised soul, which constantly seeks to gather the shattered fragments of his broken heart albeit unsuccessfully.
2 years later…
The regularity of Aryans existence is stirred when he along with two of his old college friends Harsh- a Casanova who proclaims so and the astute Sneha, receives an unexpected phone call. The call which manifests in the form of an wedding invitation is from their fourth comrade Sajad, who invites his friends to his marriage which is to be held in Bhaderwah; a beautiful town in Jammu and Kashmir. The three friends are overwhelmed with joy and surprise at this news. They board the same train from their respective cites to become a part of this exhilarating celebration and as well as reaffirm their old friendship.
After reaching their destination and indulging in a joyful reunion, the trio engages themselves at their friend's pre wedding celebrations where they insist the groom to show the picture of his would-be bride. Sajad sheepishly passes the photo to his friends. They admire her beauty one by one. But when it reaches Arayan he receives a bolt from the blue. For the picture is none other than that of Mahira - the only person in Aryans life who was the cause of his happiness as well the reason of his tears.

He also realizes that their current union leader is working along with their mill owner and refuses to take the side of the workers.

But Digant’s campaign leaves the owner and their current leader Manoj miffed and they kill the worker in order to save themselves from any further trouble. However, this prompts Jay to change his decision as he goes on to participate in the union leader elections and even wins. But his struggle with the management over the workers’ plight and their dire need for medical aid continues. He soon realizes that the entire upper management is corrupt and soon their factory shuts down.

On the other hand, according to information provided by his nurse friend Rita, Jay finds fake medical reports created by the factory managers of their workers in order to prove that the chemicals manufactured by them aren’t harmful. With the help of Rita, Jay gets to the original medical reports on the basis of which he drags the factory owners to court.

Will Jay succeed in his venture or will the wealthy factory owner yet again walk free despite heinous crimes they have committed is what forms the rest of the story.

In this way, the sponsors would get great mileage in India as well as New York. The sponsors like the idea and immediately come on board, prompting Sophie to seek a pay hike. But when Gary refuses, Sophie swears revenge by spoiling the show. To begin with, she selects the two least talented contestants so that it would reflect badly on the IIFA show. The contestants selected are Teji (Diljit Dosanjh), an aspiring actor, and Jeenal (Sonakshi Sinha), an upcoming costume designer.

Along with the Bollywood celebrities, Teji and Jeenal reach New York a couple of days before the awards night. There is a villain in New York, Arjun (Karan Johan again) who resembles Karan Johar. He hates host Karan because he spreads the message of love through his films. He has his men kidnap host Karan Johar before the event. What happens then? Do Teji and Jeenal present their talent at IIFA? Are they both an embarrassment to the show and the organiser? Is Karan Johar able to host the show with Ritesh Deshmukh? What happens to Arjun? Is the show a success or a failure?
